A very young, yet powerful Sufi music band. A Must consider! Himalayan Routes was formed in Shimla in March 2012. We began our journey at the Rock Invasion Fest in Shimla & slowly garnered an underground following performing small-scale gigs at multiple venues across Shimla, culminating with a move to Delhi by the end of the year.

Our Band name is inspired from our own ancestral roots, which are set deep in the Himalayas.Our sound contains the feeling of being in the Himalayas – with the sound of river streams, cold winds & smell of fresh flowers. We play a fusion of Sufi, Himachali Folk & Indian music in a way that every listener can connect to it deeply. We aim to present folk symphonies in a new flavour to audiences, thus producing something which is fresh, vibrant & soul-touching.
